Join us on the afternoon of Tuesday 14 January for a virtual student event with global law firm Hill Dickinson.
The theme is the future of global trade. World trade volumes today sit close to record levels, but amid talk of Trumpian protectionism and tariffs, alongside continued geopolitical conflict, there is uncertainty about what comes next.
Giving their view on this complex outlook will be lawyers from Hill Dickinson’s maritime team, whose expertise spans everything from shipping, cargo & logistics, commodities and asset finance to advising the global elite on their super yachts.
As well as looking at how macro-economic themes affect their practice areas, the speakers will give insights on what it’s like to specialise in maritime law, reflecting on standout matters that they have worked on and sharing insights into their typical day. They will also reflect on their own career journeys and give advice to students hoping to follow a similar path.
After short talks and a Q&A there will be virtual networking with the speakers, Hill Dickinson trainees and members of the firm’s early careers team.
Apply to attend above. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the firm.
