Join us on the evening of Thursday 17 October for a series of in-person careers and commercial awareness workshops with Addleshaw Goddard, Clyde & Co, TLT and The University of Law.
The event, which is free and open to all students, takes place from 4pm to 7pm at The University of Law’s Manchester campus, located in the heart of the city near Piccadilly Gardens.
The workshop themes:
• Introduction to catastrophic injury (delivered by Chris Eccles, partner specialising in catastrophic injury & large loss claims at Clyde & Co)
• Employment law (delivered by Susie Vance and Oliver Sargent, associates in the employment team, and Lucy Evans, trainee solicitor in the employment team at TLT)
• Applications masterclass (delivered by Kirsty Stanway, careers consultant at ULaw)
• Real estate (delivered by Ashley Raine, managing associate in transactional real estate and Mollie Rigby, trainee solicitor in the real estate team at Addleshaw Goddard)
Students will attend four workshops, each 30-minutes long, delivered by lawyers at the participating firms as well as a careers expert from ULaw. Midway through the event there is 40 minutes of networking with the firms’ trainees and graduate recruitment teams over drinks and snacks.
