With the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) still relatively new – having been first introduced in September 2021 – the regime has attracted an abundance of myths and half-truths surrounding preparation courses, accessibility, funding and costs. The SQE is complex, meaning it’s vitally important for students to have the correct information.
Caroline Rayson, SQE1 Award Leader at BPP University Law School, will be leading the discussion by unpacking myths about the SQE. Rayson, a former City lawyer, will be joined by some of BPP’s current SQE students, who will provide insights into their experiences on the course, as well as offering advice to those considering the SQE as part of their future studies.
