Start your legal career with SPARK

With Clifford Chance

Join us on the afternoon of Tuesday 23 January for a virtual student event with Clifford Chance.

The event will explore Clifford Chance SPARK, the firm’s award-winning opportunity for exceptional first year law students, second year students of a four-year law degree or penultimate year non-law students. SPARK is the firm’s first-of-its-kind, hands on, paid work experience scheme where participants gain an insight into a career as a lawyer at Clifford Chance and have the opportunity to secure a training contract while completing their degree.

We’ll be joined by the Clifford Chance early talent team to explain the structure and impact of SPARK and discuss the application process ahead of the application deadline on Thursday 8 February.

This will be followed by an introduction to the firm, the work that they do, and the expectations of a trainee on a deal, brought to life through a case study.

The speakers

  • Megan Rosendale, acquisition advisor in the Early Talent team
  • Bruce Kahl, partner in the capital markets team
  • Saud Aziz, associate in the energy and infrastructure team
  • Sunil Bashal, associate in the energy and infrastructure team
  • Jasmin Sahota, associate in the energy and infrastructure team
  • Oliver James, associate in the energy and infrastructure team
  • Victor Taiwo, trainee solicitor at the firm
  • Ella Fellows-Moore, trainee solicitor at the firm
  • Shad Abou Zaki, future trainee solicitor at the firm

SPARK alumni at different stages in their careers will then share their experiences and provide advice for those in the audience, before virtual networking in various breakout rooms.

Please note this event is for first year law students, second year students of a four-year law degree or penultimate year non-law students.

Apply to attend above. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the speakers.
