Many aspiring lawyers are still questioning whether to opt for the new Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) or the outgoing Legal Practice Course (LPC).
Both courses are on offer for the next few years, as the LPC is gradually phased out. With leading law firms taking different approaches to the transition, it can be far from clear which path to take.
Join us on the afternoon of Thursday 17 November for a virtual student event with careers experts from BPP University Law School, who will break down the considerations that will guide this decision, and help students decide which route is best suited for their legal career.
Also up for discussion will be some of the skills that aspiring lawyers should be seeking to develop through vocational training and how they can be honed through the various study options.
The speakers
• Jonny Hurst, former City law firm partner and head of outreach at BPP
• Hilary Chadwick, head of Law for BPP Waterloo
After the panel discussion there will be virtual networking with the BPP University Law School team.
Apply to attend above. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the panel.
