Join us on the afternoon of Tuesday 31 January for a virtual student event with Clifford Chance.
Please note this event is for first year law students, second year students of a four-year law degree or penultimate year non-law students.
The event will explore Clifford Chance SPARK, the firm’s award-winning opportunity for exceptional first year law students, second year students of a four-year law degree or penultimate year non-law students. SPARK is the firm's first-of-its-kind, hands on, paid work experience scheme where participants gain an insight into a career as a lawyer at Clifford Chance and have the opportunity to secure a training contract while completing their degree.
We’ll be joined by the Clifford Chance early talent team to explain the structure and impact of SPARK and discuss the application process ahead of the application deadline on Thursday 9 February.
The speakers
• Zoe Jenkins, early talent acquisition specialist
• Soojean Choi, senior associate in the global financial markets team
• Jasmin Sahota, energy and infrastructure associate
• Laura Chen, trainee solicitor
• Connie Maskell, trainee solicitor
• Sam Winton, future trainee solicitor
This will be followed by an introduction to the firm, the work that they do, and the expectations of a trainee on a deal, brought to life through a case study from the firm’s global financial markets team.
SPARK alumni at different stages in their careers will then share their experiences and provide advice for those in the audience, before virtual networking in various breakout rooms.
