Join us on the afternoon of Wednesday 30 November for a virtual student event with Pinsent Masons.
Global giant Pinsent Masons is one of the UK’s largest training firms, offering 72 training contracts each year across its offices, with newly qualified solicitor salaries of up to £92,000.
The theme is ‘Going for growth: hot practice areas of the 2020s’. We’ll be exploring four practice areas that look set to perform strongly over the next few years: data, technology, energy and restructuring.
Pinsent Masons lawyers specialising in each of these areas will give short talks on the work they do, explain why they enjoy it, how they got into it and look at the opportunities they see for future solicitors.
There will then be a panel discussion where a Legal Cheek journalist puts students’ questions to the speakers.
The speakers
• Scott Wilkinson, restructuring and insolvency associate
• Christina Oulton, energy associate
• Nick McDonald, planning, energy and infrastructure partner
• Paul Galbraith, technology solicitor
• Mark Marfé, intellectual property and technology partner
After this the speakers will be joined by Pinsent Masons trainees and members of the firm’s graduate recruitment team for virtual networking.
Apply to attend above. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the speakers.
